Biomedical Engineering Internship

Centre Oscar Lambret

During my internship at the Centre Oscar Lambret, a leading cancer treatment and research center in Lille, France, I contributed to optimizing the management of biomedical equipment within the Biomedical Unit. My primary focus was on improving existing systems for monitoring equipment performance and digitizing key administrative processes.

  • Enhancing Performance Indicators: I rehabilitated outdated performance indicators and developed new ones using Business Objects. This work enabled the Biomedical Unit to obtain more accurate, actionable data for monitoring the effectiveness and reliability of critical medical equipment.
  • Digitization of Administrative Processes: I spearheaded the transition from paper-based to digital protocols for equipment reception. By implementing JotForm for the creation and management of electronic reception reports, I significantly improved the efficiency, traceability, and processing speed of these critical documents.

This experience provided me with valuable insights into the intersection of healthcare technology and operational efficiency.
